Tottenham are readying moves in the summer transfer window as they prepare to fight on all fronts next season.

Spurs can pursue higher-quality players after securing Champions League football under Ange Postecoglou against all odds.

Despite a lacklustre Premier League campaign, the Lilywhites ended a 17-year trophy drought with a Europa League triumph.

Now, Tottenham are ready to raid Chelsea after developments at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham Premier League favourites to land Chelsea ace

Tottenham and Chelsea are the best of enemies, and both can gloat about lifting silverware this campaign.

However, the Lilywhites can boast a more significant victory, having toppled Manchester United to lift the Europa League, joining their rivals in the Champions League.

Tottenham are now showing interest in France international Christopher Nkunku, according to Ben Jacobs (29 May).

Bayern Munich were said to have made an approach in January, with the French star keen at the time.

Chelsea were after a minimum of £50.53million for the forward, intending to make a profit on the former RB Leipzig man.

The understanding is that Tottenham have enquired and are currently the most concrete Premier League suitor, with links to Liverpool batted away.

Christopher Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea this summer.

Bayern made an approach in January and Nkunku was keen.

Spurs should pursue immediate Nkunku deal

If Tottenham are to improve next season, then they have to add quality in multiple areas.

Nkunku is a player who possesses that in abundance, even if this has not been evident during his spell with Chelsea.

Injuries have scuppered his move to England, and as a result, he has not been afforded a fair opportunity.

However, when the Frenchman was in Germany, he was one of the most outstanding players in the Bundesliga.

A move to North London would suit both parties, and Nkunku would have an opportunity to show the Blues what they are missing.

This would be one of the most eye-catching deals of the summer should Spurs pull it off.
