Tottenham have begun the season brilliantly under Thomas Frank, and are still looking to make some new additions before the transfer window slams shut.

After two wins from two, and zero goals conceded in the Premier League so far, Frank could not have asked for a much better start.

New arrivals Mohammed Kudus and Joao Palhinha have been brilliant, with the Portuguese midfielder, on loan from Bayern Munich, particularly excellent in Spurs' 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

However, Frank will want more options if his side are to compete on all four fronts this season, and after Tottenham missed out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, the Dane wants to add a creative midfielder to his ranks.

At least two singings lined up as Spurs are dealt Nico Paz blow

Spurs have been linked with the likes of Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White throughout the window and have been disappointed in their pursuits.

Reports from Standard Sport suggest that a move for Nico Paz is now not realistic following the rejection of Tottenham's £60million bid but that they are out to make two signings before the window closes.

Como see Paz as a Real Madrid player, with the Spanish club having a 50 per cent sell-on clause and an option to buy the youngster back for just €10million next summer.

As a result, Spurs, who are in the market for a winger and a number 10, will turn their full focus to the prospect of signing Manchester City's Savinho.

City want a fee in the region of £69m for the Brazilian, having signed him from Spanish club Girona for £30m just last summer.

Spurs also have a firm interest in Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, with the PFA Young Player of the Year likely to cost Spurs around £80m to bring to North London following his stellar breakout season in 2024/25.

Experienced Spurs midfielder expected to make switch across London

One of the players who has benefited less from Thomas Frank's arrival is midfielder Yves Bissouma.

West Ham are very interested in bringing the midfielder to East London as the Mali international doesn't seem to be part of Thomas Frank's plan.

After being left out of the UEFA Super Cup squad for disciplinary reasons, Bissouma hasn't made his way back into the starting lineup, and with his contract expiring next summer, his exit seems inevitable.
