Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou must take a closer look at Luka Vuskovic and Alfie Devine after what they did in Belgium.

The Spurs duo are both on loan at Jupiler Pro League outfit Westerlo and featured for the full 90 minutes in the 4-3 loss to Club Brugge on Boxing Day (26 December).

The Croatian and the Englishman both scored equalising goals in the contest with the former smashing a stunning bicycle kick into the back of the net.

However, they would ultimately end up on the losing side due to a last-gasp winner for the opposition.

Tottenham loanees thriving in Belgium

Both youngsters are thriving in the Belgian league despite Westerlo being in 11th place in the table.

Despite Vuskovic being a centre-back, he has scored six goals and notched one assist in 20 league matches so far this season and could solve Spurs' injury issues at the back if he was eligible.

Unfortunately for Postecoglou, he cannot recall the Croatian from his loan due to Brexit regulations that mean Premier League clubs cannot register foreign players until they are over the age of 18.

Meanwhile, Devine who is a midfielder, has scored three goals in 14 league matches so far in the campaign.

The 20-year-old has struggled to break into the first-team picture in North London since he became the youngest-ever goalscorer for the Lilywhites in the FA Cup win over non-league Marine in 2021 (10 January).

Postecoglou should be keeping an eye on their progress, especially Vuskovic due to his attacking threat.
