Ivan Toney would jump at the opportunity to sign for Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham News understands.

Spurs are currently in the market for a new number nine.

Richarlison's future in North London is uncertain, with multiple strikers having been linked with a switch to Spurs.

Reliable Spurs insider Paul O'Keefe revealed via X (13 May), that Toney is one of several options the club are considering ahead of the transfer window opening on 14 June.

And it appears that the deal wouldn't be too difficult to get done.

Ivan Toney keen to join Ange Postecoglou at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

A source with close links to Spurs has exclusively revealed to Tottenham News that Toney would be open to joining the club.

Toney has been widely linked with a move away from Brentford this summer, with manager Thomas Frank previously suggesting it was "relatively obvious" the frontman would leave the club (via The Athletic, 7 February).

And Tottenham News understands that the 28-year-old "would jump at the chance" to join sign for Postecoglou.

The England international has played 141 times for Brentford, scoring 72 goals while providing 23 assists.

He has featured 85 times for the Bees in the Premier League, scoring 36 goals as well as making 11 assists.

The forward has just one year remaining on his deal at the Gtech Community Stadium which could make a move more feasible.
