Bryan King doesn't think Tottenham will have any interest in selling Guglielmo Vicario amid interest from Inter Milan.

The ex-Spurs scout believes the 27-year-old has done well since he arrived in North London, despite a few shaky moments at times.

According to a report from Milan Live (18 September), Inter Milan are interested in replacing 35-year-old Yann Sommer with Vicario and are prepared to offer £25million.

And King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - doesn't think Inter will be the only side interested in the shot-stopper.

“Tottenham definitely won’t be thinking about selling Vicario,” King said.

“Especially not after watching Fraser Forster’s performance against Coventry City. Vicario has done well since he joined the club, and looking around, there isn’t exactly an abundance of top goalkeepers.

“In addition, Inter Milan already have a half-decent goalkeeper themselves. However, there will be interest in Vicario, be it from Italy or the Premier League.”

Inter Milan to sign Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario?

Vicario has been the undisputed number one since arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, he has come under fire in recent times for his performance levels. One of the big question marks over the Italy international is his ability to deal with set pieces.

However, considering this is only his second season with the club, Tottenham aren't likely to be thinking about letting him go.

Therefore, unless a top-quality replacement presents itself, Inter are likely to be rebuffed should they make any official offers.
