Daniel Levy will front transfer negotiations as Tottenham look to sign Lille midfielder Angel Gomes, according to Give Me Sport.

The news outlet reports [5 November] that the England international is set to enter the final six months of his deal with the Ligue 1 outfit and is keen on returning to the Premier League.

Spurs are one of the teams looking to sign the former Manchester United star, but the 24-year-old's potential £150,000-per-week salary demands could prove to be an obstacle for the North Londoners.

Angel Gomes could be a bargain transfer for Tottenham

Tottenham have made some astute signings to bolster their front line in recent transfer windows, with the likes of Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke making their way to N17.

After a rather shaky start, the former Bournemouth striker has found his feet at the Lilywhites, scoring a brace in the side's 4-1 win over Aston Villa in the league on 3 November.
