Tottenham are potentially set to add yet another talented youngster to their already impressive group of academy hopefuls.

Spurs' first team have struggled massively this season.

Ange Postecoglou's side are currently 14th in the Premier League after suffering their 15th defeat in the competition this season on Sunday (16 March), as they were beaten 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Fans are clearly losing patience with the senior players, with a call made for Son Heung-min's contract to be terminated after footage emerged from the loss to Marco Silva's side. Therefore, the Spurs faithful will be hoping for the players of the future to step up sooner rather than later.

Luckily, there seems to be a host of talented youngsters ready to shine in North London, in particular Mikey Moore, who recently sent a message to Postecoglou.

And it looks as though another promising gem could join Spurs' academy, which is currently full of talent.

Tottenham welcome winger on trial

As well as Moore, who has already established himself as part of the first-team squad, Spurs also have some lesser-known players shining at Hotspur Way, including Luca Williams-Barnett and Tynan Thompson.

Therefore, competition for places is already tough in the academy, with Williams-Barnett and Thompson both forwards who have been making a big impact for Spurs' Under-18s this season.

However, it looks as though the competition could become more fierce, which can only be a good thing for Tottenham. As reported by Lilywhite Rose on X (18 March), Nigerian youngster Subomi Dare has joined Spurs on trial.

Dare, described by Lilywhite Rose as a "talented winger", was previously with Southampton and could be seen warming up ahead of Spurs Under-21s' 4-0 win over Blackburn Rover's Under-21s in the Premier League 2 at the Lamex Stadium on Friday (14 March).

Daniel Levy continues to attract top talent to Tottenham

While Daniel Levy isn't known for splashing the cash and signing ready-made players, it is clear that the Spurs chairman is focused on bringing in talented young players.

This demonstrates that Levy continues to think about the future, and he will no doubt be hoping that all of this recruitment at academy level pays off down the line.
