Ange Postecoglou could make three changes when his side host Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (15 September).

It hasn't been the best of starts to the season for Spurs.

After three matches played they have just four points on the board. In addition, they have already been hit with several injury issues, with record-signing Dominic Solanke featuring just once this season.

Therefore, the North London derby could provide Postecoglou's side with the perfect chance to kickstart their Premier League season.

As a result, the Australian may be keen to make some much-needed changes from the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United at St James' Park (1 September).

Ange Postecoglou to make three Tottenham changes v Arsenal

Guglielmo Vicario will expect to start between the sticks against the Gunners despite making just one save and completing only 47 per cent of his passes last time out (Sofascore).

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie will likely be the full-back pairing, with the former taking six shots against Newcastle, hitting the woodwork once.

Cristian Romero will most likely keep his place despite some recent struggles defensively. Alongside him, Postecoglou will be keen to bring Micky van de Ven back in.

The Dutchman missed the defeat to Newcastle and was deputised by Radu Drăguşin, who won 100 per cent of his ground duels and four of his six aerial duels against Eddie Howe's side.

However, after missing the international break, van de Ven will likely be included once again.

Ange Postecoglou to make a change in midfield for Tottenham v Arsenal

In midfield, Yves Bissouma is an injury concern for Postecoglou after being hooked by Mali on Tuesday (10 September). Therefore, Rodrigo Bentancur could replace him.

Pape Matar Sarr could start alongside him after making five tackles and completing 91 per cent of his passes in the first half against Newcastle.

James Maddison will likely complete the midfield three, despite his struggles at St James' Park, where he provided just one accurate cross into the box from six attempts and failed both of his dribble attempts.

Son Heung-min is likely to start on the left, while Dejan Kulusevski could move to the right in place of Wilson Odobert.

The 19-year-old struggled against Newcastle, missing one big chance and being dribbled past twice.

That leaves the number nine position free, and Postecoglou will likely call on Solanke to make just his second Spurs appearance, should the 26-year-old recover from his latest injury setback in time.
