Ange Postecoglou confirms injured Tottenham defender likely to return v Everton
Ange Postecoglou has shared an injury update on Tottenham defender Ben Davies ahead of the Premier League clash with Everton on Sunday.
Spurs were handed their 11th Premier League defeat of the season on Wednesday (15 January) as they were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal at the Emirates, with the club sneaking out a multi-million document just before kick-off in North London
As a result, Postecoglou desperately needs a win against the Toffees at Goodison Park on 19 January, with Gary Neville sharing a "stupid" admission ahead of the Premier League clash.
Should Spurs lose on Merseyside, it is expected that Postecoglou will be sacked.
Therefore, the Australian will be delighted to hopefully welcome Davies back to the fold, saying ahead of the trip to Everton [via Football London, 17 January], "Ben Davies should be involved."

Davies hasn't been seen since the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on 5 December. As a result, Postecoglou has been forced to rely on Archie Gray - who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid [via Fichajes, 12 January] and Radu Drăgușin as his centre-back pairing.
Therefore, the 59-year-old will be delighted to welcome Davies back to the fold.
The Spurs defender last completed a full 90 minutes in the 1-1 Premier League draw with Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 1 December and proved how important he was to the squad that day.
