Ange Postecoglou is under increasing sack pressure, with Scott Parker suggested as one of the names to arrive at Tottenham soon.

The Australian manager's future looks set, with Daniel Levy thinking about a replacement at Spurs.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Postecoglou be the next Premier League manager to be sacked, with Europa League success reportedly not being enough to secure his tenure [The Telegraph].

With the former Celtic boss' departure seemingly inevitable, Parker's name has been brought up as a possible appointment in N17.

Parker suggestions incredible at Tottenham

Suggestions of Parker replacing Postecoglou at the North London outfit are "incredible", Ally McCoist says.

Alan Brazil suggested the Burnley manager's name as the next head coach at Spurs, with Jamie O'Hara apparently wanting him after the Clarets confirmed promotion from the Championship.

McCoist seemed baffled by the suggestion of the Englishman succeeding the former Celtic boss at the Lilywhites.

Speaking on talkSPORT (23 April, 6:42), Brazil said: "O'Hara wants [Parker] at Spurs."

McCoist responded: "Incredible."

Postecoglou sack news not surprising after abysmal Spurs season

Postecoglou's sacking at Spurs has felt inevitable, with tensions already evident with supporters and the Australian gaffer.

The North London outfit's struggles have seemingly boiled down to the former Celtic boss' inability to evolve his playing style.

While neutrals are always excited to see the Lilywhites play under Postecoglou, as goals are almost always guaranteed, fans in N17 have grown weary of their team's defensive fragility.

Levy now needs to choose the next manager at Tottenham, with Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola and Fulham's Marco Silva two of the potential candidates.

The North London outfit haven't had the best track record with recent head coaches, with Mauricio Pochettino the last relatively successful appointment.

With the hierarchy also under pressure to turn things around at Spurs, it wouldn't be surprising to see Postecoglou be the first person axed after an underwhelming campaign.

A win in the Europa League would seal the Lilywhites' place in next season's Champions League, but the Australian manager may not be the right person to lead them in the competition.

Levy has historically made the wrong calls in various departments at the North London outfit, and his stepping down would arguably help bring success back to N17.
