Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall is likely to spend weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that this one is a Grade 2 ligament tear, at minimum, and it could even be worse.
The 19-year-old last featured for the senior team in the 5-1 loss against Liverpool on 27 April.
While it is unclear, there is the possibility of Bergvall potentially not being able to be back for pre-season.
However, it seems that Ange Postecoglou is more bullish about his return sooner than that.
Discussing the state of play with Bergvall exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

"They say tweaked ankle ligaments, but the word ‘Tweaked’ is very much a colloquialism," he said.
"He will miss over a month or so, looking at a Grade 2 ligament tear, at minimum.
"Returning to training will depend on the full extent of the injury.
"If it’s a Grade 2, that’s typically 3-4 weeks, whereas a Grade 3 is 4-6 weeks.
"So, he might not recover in time for the start of pre-season if it is more extreme but that is the worst-case scenario."
While having him back for the final would be a huge boost, Spurs need to consider the larger picture as well.
Rushing him back could lead to further complications down the line which everyone will want to avoid.
Also, having a player who’s not fully fit, back for a high-stakes encounter, may not be the best decision either.
Even if he does return for the final, it is unlikely he’ll be at a 100 per cent.
